Thank you Toshiba repair; I am back in the land of the Internet

Hello Blogland and dear folks who have stopped by to again find no content on my blog. My laptop and my printer both died within days of each other, and I have been patiently waiting for my computer to return from repair. It still has some kind of odd issue, but at least I can visit my blog friends again and see what you have all been up to. To those of you who have yet to give up totally on me, I intend to post a "life" update as soon as I can in the next few days, and hopefully will soon be able to actually really begin this blog as I intended before my mother's decline in health. 

Oh, and Happy Spring to everyone!

Sweet Cottage Dreams, a giveaway and a birthday

If you don't know Becky, from Sweet Cottage Dreams blog, you are missing getting to know an incredible and sweet lady.  When I first learned about blogs in general, Becky's blog was one of the very first I found, and she had me hooked from the beginning. Becky absolutely shines in her faith, devotion to family and friends, and is extremely talented to boot!  Her latest endeavor is to develop a pattern for one of her lovely fabric bags that she sews, called "Sophie's Bloomers".  She is working with fabrics from Elizabeth's new line, Red Rose Farm, which are so yummy.

New inspiration for romantic decor!

Thanks to Cindy from 'My Romantic Home' blog, for letting us know about the new upcoming online magazine. "Romantic Living" e-zine will arrive in March 2009, and I can hardly wait for more inspiration on decorating in the romantic style.
